<div itemprop="description">On January 18, 2017, Bill Kot passed away peacefully at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of Jean Kot, children Colin Kot (Yolanda) of Colima Mexico, Lorna Kot, Kelly Kot (Sharilyn), Cory Kot and Bill Kot all of Edmonton; grandchildren Cheyanne Kot, Angie Conner, Crystal Kostiuk Taylor (Shaun), Sarah Conner of Vancouver BC, John Kot and Scott Kot, great grandchildren Andrew Taylor, Kate Taylor, Natalee Taylor and Brandon Taylor all of Edmonton; many nieces and nephews, and Aunt Genevieve and Uncle Stan Buschta of Bismark, North Dakota. Bill was predeceased by his former wife and mother of his children Emelia Kot, parents John and Agnes Kot, brother Alvin, sister Marie, and niece Debbie. <br>Bill will be remembered for his gentle ways with all animals of the earth, his patience and nurturing of his bountiful vegetable gardens, and his sense of humour that succeeded in making life fun. Bill's family would like to thank the nursing staff, physicians and other members of the health care teams of the emergency department, units 5D2, 5D3 and the E. Garner King Critical Care Unit at the University of Alberta Hospital for their expert and loving care provided to Bill in his last days.<br><br>The viewing, funeral service and internment will be held at Glenwood Funeral Home and Cemetery ,52356 Range Road 232 Sherwood Park AB on Saturday January 28. The viewing will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 p.m., funeral service and at 2:00pm, internment to follow. As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made in Bill's name to the Edmonton Humane Society 13620 - 163 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5V 0B2.<br><br><br></div>
