<div itemprop="description">Tyler Earle James of Sherwood Park, AB passed away on Thursday June 25, 2015 after a brave fight with Cancer at the age of 44.<br /><br />Tyler is survived by his loving wife Michelle of 21 years; daughters Jessica and Nicole; parents Keith and Anne James; brother&rsquo;s Robert (Shannon) James and Andrew (Kristi) James; mother/father-in-law Helene and Brian Caron; brother in law Bill (Tracey) Beaudry; nieces Keisha James and Alison Beaudry; and nephews Cole James, Aidan Beaudry, Lucas James and Logan James.<br /><br />Tyler was predeceased by his grandparents Len &amp; Isabel Munro and Earle &amp; Eileen James.<br /><br />Tyler was born in Prince Albert, SK in 1971. He graduated from Carlton Comp High School where he met his wife Michelle. Tyler began working in Emergency Medical Services right out of high school as an EMR with Parkland Ambulance in Prince Albert. After completing his EMT training in Red Deer in 1994, Tyler and Michelle were married and moved to Edson, AB to work at Yellowhead Ambulance. <br /><br />In 1998 Tyler left the front line of EMS when he, Michelle and baby Jessica moved to Edmonton and he began working for the Government of Alberta. Tyler held numerous positions in his 17 years with the GOA including managing the Air and Ground Ambulance Programs and the Provincial Flight Coordination Centre; Director of Apprenticeship &amp; Technical Training with Advanced Education; Executive Director of EMS, Acute Care and Continuing Care with Health &amp; Wellness and Executive Director of Strategic Services with Infrastructure.<br /><br />Tyler&rsquo;s favorite past times included fishing and spending time with family and friends at Candle Lake, Sask.<br /><br />In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation: Cancer Research. <br /><br />The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Edmonton Cross Cancer Institute, the Calgary Tom Baker Cancer Centre (Unit 57) where he received a Stem Cell Transplant in April 2015 and the Edmonton Grey Nuns Hospital (Unit 43) for their wonderful compassion and care.<br /><br />A service for Tyler will be held on Wednesday, July 1st at 2:00pm at Glenwood Funeral Home, 52356 RR 232 (south of Wye Road), Sherwood Park, AB. <br /><br />The family encourages people to wear a touch of blue or purple in honor of Tyler&rsquo;s favorite colors.<br /><br /><br /></div>
