Ronald Joseph, the adventuring soul, passed away on October 31 after living life to the fullest.
He is survived by his wife Pauline, two sons Jeff (Estella) and Trevor, grandson Sam, brothers: Marty (Sharon), Gary (Aline), Kevin (Cory), and sisters: Darlene (Dick) and Donna.
He was predeceased by his brother Ricky.
Ronald served with the Canadian Air Force for 26 years; when he retired in 1986 he flew with the Reserves. He went overseas with TransAfrik Airlines based in Africa from 1986 - 2001.
Once Ronald retired from TransAfrik, he continued going on his own adventures filled with travelling, hunting, and fishing.
A Celebration of Ronald's life will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, South of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park.
Donations in Ronald's name may be made to Valour Place (valourplace.ca) or to the Alberta Aviation Museum (albertaaviationmuseum.com).
