<div itemprop="description">Harvey (Hank) Zimmerman October 14, 1930 - February 1, 2014 It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Hank after a long battle with Alzheimer disease. Hank will be lovingly remembered by his four children, Daryl (Eileen), Kim, Bob (Linda) and Janet (Dean); eight grandchildren, Daniel and Bryce, Tom (Elise), Lindsey, Kari (Travis), Jaclyn, Graham and Cameron; and his three great-grandchildren, Natalia, Tristan and Chorus; his companion, Van Harris; and many other relatives and friends. He is also survived by his brother, Bob of Arbutus Ridge, BC; his sister, Phyllis Busch of Victoria; and his sister Alice Taylor of London, ON. <br /> <br />Hank was born in Moose Jaw, SK, but spent his youth in Headingley, MB. He married Isobel Ballance on October 16, 1954. He started his career in Churchill, MB, moving to Edmonton in 1952 where he took up the steamfitter trade. In 1959, Hank, his lifelong friend Cliff Williams and Cliff's brother Al, formed Williams Plumbing and Heating, a successful mechanical contractor for 25 years. Hank was an avid curler and left-handed golfer and was a member of the Ottewell Curling Club and Highlands Golf Club for many years. He loved to travel and was fortunate to see a great deal of the world. <br /> <br />A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, February 6 at 2:00 p.m. at Glenwood Memorial Gardens, 52356 Range Road 232, Sherwood Park, Alberta. <br /> <br />Donations in Hank's memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta <br /></div>
