May 2, 1945 - July 23, 2016
On July 23, 2016, Scott Robertson of Whitecourt passed away at the Whitecourt Health Centre after a lengthy illness, at the age of 71.
Scott is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Bernadette; his sons, Kent (Jackie) of Grande Prairie, Donald (Dale) of Edmonton, and Derek (Chantelle) of Slave Lake; his treasured grandchildren, Brett and Sarah; his sister, Ruth (Bill) Kondro of Lloydminster; his sister-in-law Louise Ferguson of Edmonton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Russ and Annie Robertson; brother, Alec Robertson; and sister-in-law Bev Robertson.
A celebration of Scott’s life will be held on Thursday, August 4 at 1:00 p.m. at Whitecourt United Church, 5201-50 Street, Whitecourt.
In lieu of floral tributes, donations in memory of Scott may be made to the Friends of Whitecourt Society (Hospital Auxiliary), Box 1101, Whitecourt, Alberta T7S 1P1.
The family wishes to give their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Bablitz, Dr. Roos, and all the healthcare staff for their years of loving care of Scott during his lengthy illness.
