He told stories about being a fireman in Ottawa and how much he loved it. He talked about when he worked with the Ice Capades and how he started minor hockey in Burbank, California and about being an active member of the 55 plus club in Sherwood Park where he met a lot of new friends. Mostly he talked about his family and the joy they all brought to his life. He was so very proud and would always stop with a big smile on his face to talk to people about his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and soon to be great great grandchild. We will miss hearing all of his stories and seeing all the pictures he would take, capturing as many family memories as he could to share with everyone.
He was the most thoughtful, caring and loving man to everyone who came into his life. He loved life and was full of spunk, sometimes it was hard to keep up with him.
He used to say he wasn't afraid to get his wings, that when the time came it would be a privilege to earn them. There are not enough words to express how wonderful he was, he had a heart of gold. The times spent with him have now turned into precious memories that are embedded in our hearts forever.

A Burial Service will be held on Friday April 21, 2017 at 3:15 pm.
