Maurice & Denise Lavigne
It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Maurice and Denise on June 7, 2015.
They will be lovingly remembered by their son Nicholas (Jessica); their siblings: Serena, Mike (Debbie), Angela (Alex); and Derrick; as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Inseparable in life and true partners in all things. They anchored two families and amassed a large diverse group of close committed friends. Amongst those many relationships, uppermost always was their unconditional, unwavering and deep love for Nicholas and Jessica.
Through countless family celebrations, parties and gatherings at their lake property and through the many daily connections with those close to them, their generosity and genuineness of spirit were a beacon to all.
Leaving us far too soon, we take solace in knowing that they lived fully and embraced the joys of life daily and we are grateful to have shared in two lives well lived.
A celebration of their lives will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home (south of Wye Road on Range Road 232, Sherwood Park, AB).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Maurice and Denise's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of one's choice.
