JOHNSTON, George Andrew
October 7, 1929 - December 30, 2016
It is with sadness that the family of George Andrew Johnston announces his passing on December 30, 2016. He is predeceased by his parents John and May Johnston, brothers Bob, Wilfred, Stanley, Jim, and sister Luella.
George was a devoted husband and father who enjoyed sharing his skills with his children and grandchildren. He loved to spend time outdoors and with nature fly fishing, hunting, and camping.
George was well known as a hardworking, dedicated person who was proud of his 31 year career with the City of Edmonton Fire Department where he has well respected amongst his coworkers.
Thank you to the doctors and staff at the U of A Hospital and Summerwood Village for their excellent care and compassion.
