<div itemprop="description">It is with heavy hearts that the family of Elizabeth "Billie" Thompson announce her passing on Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the age of 86 years.<br><br>Billie is survived by her sons Bruce (Ria) and Brian (Kate); as well as her two grandchildren Hugh and Scott.<br><br>She was predeceased by her husband Robert and her sister Margaret.<br><br>A Celebration of Billie's Life will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Glenwood Funeral Home, 52356 RR232 (south of Wye Road), Sherwood Park, AB.<br><br> In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Strathcona Women's Shelter: A Safe Place, PO Box 3282, Sherwood Park, Alberta, T8H 2T2.<br><br><br></div>
