Zacharuk, Eddy Victor(Ed)
February 14, 1941 - January 15, 2017

It is with profound sorrow and sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ed Zacharuk of Sherwood Park, at the age of 75 with his precious family at his side.

Ed (Grandpa) will be greatly missed by Margaret, his loving wife of 53 years, his cherished sons; Brad (Kelly), Darrell (Melody) and Michael (Donna) as well as his dear grandchildren Nic; Kyle, Tyson, Tyra, Lex; and Zoey. He is also survived by his brother Lawrence (Gloria) and his sister Florence (Russell) Van Riper, as well as many close friends and relatives.

Ed enjoyed life and was happiest when he was in the outdoors surrounded by family and friends. Boating, fishing, camping, hunting, curling, reading, playing cards and travelling were some of his favorite activities. And whenever he could, Ed would be found tinkering on a project or lending a helping hand. Ed was a devoted Grandpa and rarely missed a hockey or soccer game, concert or anything else that his grandchildren were involved in.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 29, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Millwood’s golf club 4540-50th Street, Edmonton. We invite all those who knew Ed to join us in fellowship as we share stories and memories honoring a life well lived.
Donation would be greatly accepted in Ed’s name to the Canadian Diabetes Research (Alberta Chapter) or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
