<div itemprop="description">Friday Aug 12, 2016 with color photo <br> <br>Keep, Dennis <br> <br>It is with extreme sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a husband, father, and grandfather with the family at his bedside. Dennis, 69, fought a short but hard fought battle with blood cancer. <br> <br>Dennis leaves behind his wife Marlene of 39 years, his sons Bradley (Kim) of Sherwood Park, Bryan of Castlegar, and his daughter Amanda (Aaron) of Tofield. The light of his life were his grandchildren; Lexus, Jenessa, Brent, Aysia, and Ricky. He also leaves his sisters Iris in Nelson, Vera Lynn in Kelowna, Barb in Winnipeg, Jean (Anson) in New Brunswick, and one brother Ted (Diane) in Winnipeg, and sisters in law Karen of Whitehorse and Linda of Edmonton. <br> <br>He was predeceased by his mother Vera; his father Edward; step mother Evelyn, father in law Cliff, mother in law Arlene McMillan, sister Pat, brothers in law, Ed, Ken, George, Ron and Ron and by a niece Heather. He leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, and step families. <br> <br>A Celebration of Dennis’s life will be held Monday, August 15, 2016 at Glenwood Funeral Home, (south of Wye Road and Range Road 232, Sherwood Park, AB) at 2:00 p.m. <br> <br>We would like to thank the many people who helped us on this journey - Dr. E Cahill and Emily, Strathcona Ambulance for the many trips, staff at M.O.U at the University of Alberta Hospital, and the staff at 5F4 for the professional care and compassion shown to Dennis on his numerous admissions.
